BLURB:
It’s always darkest before dawn.
Cassie hasn’t felt this alone since she moved to New Salem and joined the Circle – the closest thing to a family she’s ever known. But now that the Circle has been possessed by powerful evil spirits, Cassie is left with no choice but to turn to her dark side to rescue them. As she struggles to get through to her friends, and her soul mate, Adam, she finds an unexpected ally—one who will tempt her more than ever before.
With her enemies quickly closing in, Cassie fights to keep her heart true and her soul pure. But she knows better than anyone that all magic comes at a price, especially when Black John’s Book of Shadows is involved. Will Cassie defeat the darkness once and for all…
EXPECTATIONS: The final book of Secret Circle and things are so happening!
THE WORLD: New Salem around 1990.
CHARACTERS: Okay so as it is a last book things really happen, basically through the whole series something bad was forming, something evil and that is a circle of ancestor witches! So Cassie and her circle try to kill these old witches but of course that is easier to say than do. There is a lot of intrigues and twists happening and I really liked where we landed. Cassie is finally a true leader, she believes in herself and stands up for her circle. Even Diana is finally saying something. And Frye well finally we learn where her loyalties are! I personally really liked where development of characters got us, I think it was a great ending.
ROMANCE: Nothing really different, once together they will always be together.
GOOD: The idea of these ancient witches forming a circle was actually great. I just love how much witchcraft we got in this book!
BAD: Again just like previous books a little bit slow.
OVERALL: If you like witches I would def recommend this series. It is not something mind blowing but it's a very easy witchy read that I am sure everybody would enjoy.
What do you think about THE TEMPTATION?
