BLURB:  At the novel's center: the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt, hero, leader, inspirer, irresistible force, irrepressible spirit, battling (and ultimately reconciling with) a strange otherworldly form that has somehow taken possession of Lestat's undead body and soul. This ancient and mysterious power and unearthly spirit of vampire lore has all the force, history, and insidious reach of the unknowable Universe. It is through this spirit, previously considered benign for thousands of vampire years and throughout the Vampire Chronicles, that we come to be told the hypnotic tale of a great sea power of ancient times; a mysterious heaven on earth situated on a boundless continent--and of how and why, and in what manner and with what far-reaching purpose, this force came to build and rule the great legendary empire of centuries ago that thrived in the Atlantic Ocean. And as we learn of the mighty, far-reaching powers and perfections of this lost kingdom of Atalantaya, the lost realms of Atlantis, we come to understand its secrets, and how and why the vampire Lestat, indeed all the vampires, must reckon so many millennia later with the terrifying force of this ageless, all-powerful Atalantaya spirit.

EXPECTATIONS: Yessss yes the final book! I made it! Also if there is ever gonna be more books I am not gonna read them, I had enough, I have read bloody 14 books of Vampire Chronicles and most of them are pure nightmare.

THE WORLD: It's today's world where vampires are all sophisticated and all Vampire Diaries style with cell phones and emails and what not. I get that it kinda makes sense to use technology as time progresses but can we please not make them all act like teenagers? I mean really, just because Vampire Diaries show is popular do not try to get audience by turning your books into Vampire Diaries 2.0. Also you might think this is a story about Atlantis. Yeah nope, nothing even close to the romantic and mysterious Atlantis we know.

CHARACTERS: Once Anne gets obsessed about Lestat we get a new book. Would you like a book about me obsessing about dunno Dimitri Belikov where I tell you million times how awesome he is? Yeah I guess not. So why do we get a new books of Anne doing exactly this about Lestat? And the blurb...I am sorry but Lestat is nothing what it described. We might be simply talking about two different people because Lestat in this book is a whinny teenager who loves promoting his self sacrifice where in reality he is privileged white spoiled brat never getting enough. Frankly, if I keep talking I will explode.

ROMANCE: And once again we get Lestat being in love with Lestat.

GOOD: This is the last book.

BAD: I hope this is last. It was released in 2016 so we don't really know it's the last but it is last for me for sure.

OVERALL: I went through 14 books of Vampire Chronicles and it was an experience I never want to repeat. If you are not into the series just read Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned and Blackwood Farm and be done with it. Other books are really not worth your time.

What do you think about PRINCE LESTAT AND REALMS OF ATLANTIS?
