This synopsis reminds me a lot of Nerve (that movie with Emma Roberts and Dave France). A game with a championship/ranking and things get out of hand. I'm sure they'll be different but it just reminded me of that haha. Can't wait to read it though! I hope Emika is just as good of a hacker as Lisbeth Salander.
