BLURB: #1 New York Times bestselling author of Hopeless joins forces with the New York Times bestselling author of Mud Vein. Together, they have created a gripping, romantic tale unlike any other. "How odd to be made of flesh, balanced on bone, and filled with a soul you've never met." Charlize Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They've been in love since the age of fourteen. But as of this morning...they are complete strangers. Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love...every memory has vanished. "I don't care what our real first kiss was," he says. "That's the one I want to remember." Charlize and Silas must work together to uncover the truth about what happened to them and why. But the more they learn about the couple they used to be...the more they question why they were ever together to begin with. "I want to remember what it feels like to love someone like that. And not just anyone. I want to know what it feels like to love Charlie."

I have never read anything of Colleen Hoover so I was of course very curious. I know many many people adore her books so when I saw Never, Never in the library I could not resist.

THE WORLD: Just like ours.

CHARACTERS: Okay so the story is really about two main characters: Charlie and Silas. They have been a couple for a really long time till one morning they wake up only to find out all their memories have been wiped out. Therefore, we start from the basics and travel through the book learning about their personalities together with them. Now Charlie and Silas come from very different background. Silas is a kid of a very rich parents where Charlie lives with her sister and her alcoholic mother. There is also some bad blood between the families as Charlie's father went to jail because of Silas's father. Yeah, you get the idea. But let's look the both characters a little bit closer. And as Charlie is a girl let's start with her. Personally, I disliked Charlie very much. She is just annoying and I agree with this new Charlie that old Charlie was not very lovable. She was cheating on Silas and mean to her younger sister. Basically, Charlie is the kind of person I would absolutely hate in real life. Silas, on the other hand, he is just cute. And intelligible. If I had to choose I would go with Silas without a blink of an eye.

LOVE: So basically we have Silas and Charlie. A couple that forgot they were a couple :D Well, let me tell you, I am not impressed. I rather Silas find somebody better.

PLUS: The concept of lost memory was not new but I liked that it was done within a couple. Plus I really liked the twist in the end.

MINUS: The characters. Basically, I did like Silas but when you look at them closer they are all too stereotypical for my liking.

OVERALL: Keeping my eye for a second book. Need to know what happens next.
