SYNOPSIS: The third installment in the mesmerizing series from the irrepressible, #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater.

There is danger in dreaming. But there is even more danger in waking up.

Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.

The trick with found things though, is how easily they can be lost.

Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.

After the disappointment with the second book (mostly because I don't care about Ronan, he's my least favorite), I was really excited about this one because I knew it would not be centered around him and I was right, the book focuses more on Adam, Gansey, and Blue.

THE WORLD: As you know from the previous reviews [1 2] we're still in Henrietta, Virginia (USA) where all the raven boys and blue live and where a Ley Line is located that makes Cabeswater, a forest, a magical place.

CHARACTERS: The main characters are Gansey (save Gansey!), Ronan, Adam, Noah, and Blue. I think everyone is familiar enough with them by now so no info necessary. In this book the main focus is on Adam and also Gansey and Blue since they're dealing with their conflicting feelings. Also Blue's psychic family gains a lot more weight in the story: Maura, Blue's mother, has gone missing looking for Blue's father, Artemus (yay he has a name), and nobody knows when she'll be back so the whole family is searching for her and thinking if they should go after her. Meanwhile, Mr. Gray's former employer, Mr. Greenmantle and his wife, Piper, have settled in town looking for Mr. Gray and the Greywaren (he still thinks it's an object lol). That's basically how it goes... oh wait and we also have Jesse Dittley, a 7 feet tall farmer who owns a "cursed" cave and has a tendency to shout. Guess what the cursed cave is hiding?

LOVE: As everyone knows by now, Gansey and Blue like each other but they cannot be together and they have the cutest moments I swear. Also Ronan and Adam are like a couple but not... xD Maggie makes us ship them all but officially she hasn't put them together you know.

PLUS: In this book we get much more Glendower! Much more exploring and finally the story is picking up and getting to an end! I liked all the hints about time being circular and now I have millions of theories of what will happen in the end hehe.

Also thanks heaven Ronan is not featured that much! I understand it's a disappointment for his fans but I couldn't care less. He's okay in this book and I like how close he got to Adam but they don't beat my ship, Gansey and Blue were troubled but super cute.

The end of gosh, how? What's next? I need the next book!

MINUS: Although it was better than the second book it still had too many elements I didn't care about such as Mr. Greenmantle and his wife or Jesse. They didn't have many chapters nor were they too long but honestly I just don't care.

SAVE GANSEY 2016!

OVERALL: 4 stars. Much more fast-paced, more adventures, cute moments between characters, and overall just better than the second book. Can't wait for the last one!
