WARNING: as far as I know this book is only available in Spanish for now.

This book is my first first-read! Becca chose to give a few books away to spread the word about it since it's her first book and that's exactly what I'm doing.
I decided to participate in her Goodreads giveaway because the plot seemed promising and since it's only available in Spanish for now I'm going to do my best to explain everything in English.

THE WORLD: The world is set on space. After a war in Earth between two rival political parties, the Naturalists (the ones which are all for the environment) and the Progressives (technology all the way no matter the consequences). The Naturalists lost. The Progressives then started trying to kill all the opposition so the Naturalists either flew to a space base (the rich ones) or had to stay in Earth and learn to survive there while hiding from the Progressives.
The political parties are not explained a lot but I that's what I inferred from the information given.

THE CHARACTERS: The main character in the book is Ashling Barrott, a 16 year old girl who grew up in the military space base and now has to go to another space base where teenagers are trained in different areas but mostly informatics because everything is now controlled via computer programs. Basically, she has to go to high school to train as a computer programmer. Ash is the awkward girl there since she hasn't socialized much with other teenagers because of her growing up in the military base (there were no other kids there) but she manages to make friends. Other characters are her friends, Sooz and Driamma, and her love interest, Gábor.

PLUS: There are small plot twists and revelations along the book but a major one at the end which I really liked.

MINUS: A lot of information is missing. This book is just an introduction but hopefully Becca will include more details in the following ones.

OVERALL: 4.5 stars! Great debut novel for a young author. I really felt like a lot of information was missing but I have high hopes. I want the next books!

If anyone is able to understand Spanish I highly recommend it. It's easy to understand so give it  a try! If you already read it, what did you think about SECBRA?
