BLURB:
Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the wolds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets - and human lives.

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her...

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure — and re-education — looms larger than ever.

Pulses will race throughout this smoldering fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.

If you have not read whole Vampire Academy series this review will contain major spoilers!

EXPECTATIONS: I am so onto binging this series, just so so good! Makes me want to reread Vampire Academy, actually I even started to collect it again as I gave my copies away upon some dark period in my life. I already have hardbacks of last three, now need to get first three and can reread it again! Love this world to bits!

THE WORLD: I won't be going into much detail as to what is Moroi, Dhampir or Strigoi. I will also not explain what are alchemists. If you are not aware what all of them are you should probably stop right here and not read further because my dear you are so spoiling yourself! But if you do know all of these creatures my oh my do I love them. I just love everything about this world so much. And when you think it cannot get better we also get witches and witch circles and magic and oh my gosh I am crazy in love.

CHARACTERS: The main gang are Sydney Sage, Adrian Ivashkov, Jill Dragomir, Eddie, Angelina and now Zoe. Did I forget somebody? Well maybe Trey also counts and the teacher of Sydney who is also a very powerful with. Of course occasionally you will hear of Lissa, Rose and Dimitri as well. They are after all kick ass heros. Anyways Sydney is growing so fast on me, what happened at the end of last book...ah and plus her learning all the magic and battling evil witches on top of dealing with Alchemists. It is amazing. This book might be my favorite of all six, tho it's hard to say as I love all of them to bits! I just love every single character except for one and that is Zoe. She is Sydney's sister, the suck up sister to their dad. Gosh, I hate her so much it makes me want to punch her. Just hate hate hate. And the ending of this book...Fuck you Zoe, you are the worst sister there can be.

ROMANCE: So hot just so so hot. We are at the central point in main romance finally and boy oh boy it boils my blood. There is just something about Richelle's writing that you really get involved yourself. I was deep oh so deep into Rose and Dimitri's relationship and this is so repeating with Sage and Adrian. Just so good!

GOOD: I love this book to bits so I guess everything about it is good.

BAD: Zoe. Well she is not really a bad thing I get that she is a villain but really, hate her so much. And alchemists, hrrrrrr.

OVERALL: As I said probably my favorite book of all 6 if I had to choose. Definitely recommend reading both Vampire Academy and then Bloodlines, just amazingly good. I don't remember last time I was binging a series like this!
