SERIES SATURDAY: The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis

Series Saturday is a new meme created by us to introduce readers to new amazing series we love as well as just fangirl about them!

So today's spotlight:

The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis

My apologies. Most of the times we put all books but The Chronicles of Narnia has seven books and there is no space for all, so instead I leave you the GORGEOUS cover of the book pack (meaning this is one book that comprises all of the other books in order)

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book blurb
They open a door and enter a world

NARNIA...the land beyond the wardrobe, the secret country known only to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy...the place where the adventure begins.

Lucy is the first to find the secret of the wardrobe in the professor's mysterious old house. At first, no one believes her when she tells of her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the Magic and meet Aslan, the Great Lion, for themselves. In the blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever.
Who has never heard about Narnia? *nobody raises their hand* exactly! These books are such classics! I bet you have either read the book or seen the movies... or both like me :P

In a turn of events Hannah hasn't read them because they were not popular when she was little. Totally understandable because these books are mostly for children/pre-teens. I think that's the best age to read them but you could try as an adult as well, they're still enjoyable!

Be aware that the main characters change every 2-3 books. Be prepared to let go of your favorites...

My personal favorites of all seven books are The Horse and His Boy (#3 or #5 depending on which order you get in the edition. I have it as #3) and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (#1 or #2 depending on the edition. I have it as #2)

If you feel too lazy to read them you can also try the movies. There are three, here you have the trailer of the first one:

Psssttt Disney movies never disappoint...

Reviews:
For reasons unknown we have no reviews (same as with HP) but they're such classics that they're recommended automatically

What do you think about The Chronicles of Narnia? Have you read it? Fangirling time!!!
