Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine. Today we are waiting for Harry Potter Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling and Jim Kay! Who doesn't know (and love) Harry Potter? Admit it, he was your companion through out your whole childhood and teenage years, his adventures were your adventures, and why not? pretty sure you had a crush at one point on a character... am I wrong? ;)

Be aware that this is only the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (or Sorcerer's) Stone. For now we only have the first one... we will have to wait longer for the rest.

Publication date: 6th October, 2015
Deluxe Edition: 5th November, 2015
Publisher: Bloomsbury Childrens
Prepare to be spellbound by Jim Kay’s dazzling depiction of the wizarding world and much loved characters in this full-colour illustrated hardback edition of the nation’s favourite children’s book – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Brimming with rich detail and humour that perfectly complements J.K. Rowling’s timeless classic, Jim Kay’s glorious illustrations will captivate fans and new readers alike.

When a letter arrives for unhappy but ordinary Harry Potter, a decade-old secret is revealed to him that apparently he’s the last to know. His parents were wizards, killed by a Dark Lord’s curse when Harry was just a baby, and which he somehow survived. Leaving his unsympathetic aunt and uncle for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry stumbles upon a sinister mystery when he finds a three-headed dog guarding a room on the third floor. Then he hears of a missing stone with astonishing powers, which could be valuable, dangerous – or both. An incredible adventure is about to begin.

CONSTANT VIGILANCE MY FRIENDS! THERE IS ALSO AN EXCLUSIVE DELUXE EDITION!
It will only be available until March 2016

I don't even know why we don't have any Harry Potter review... HannahCassie how is that possible? We both love HP! Anyway fellow bloggers we give HP a 5 star rating and if we add gorgeous illustrations WE WOULD JUST GO CRAZY! I must say HP occupies an honorary spot at the center of my bookshelf because honestly those books are just necessary. They are necessary.

If you are super excited already and you have money, or a nice boyfriend or girlfriend, or family member... or you're just plain rich, you can purchase the illustrated edition and the deluxe edition from Bloomsbury.

(ppssstttt it's also on The Book Depository and it's a bit cheaper)
