SYNOPSIS: An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of Gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train and sets off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adorable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House (and the hash brown spoils), and the fate of a teacup pig falls into the hands of a lovesick barista.

A trio of today's bestselling authors - John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle - bring all the magic of the holidays to life in three hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and kisses that will steal your breath away.

Yes. Guilty. I did buy this book because of its cover. I saw it on sale last week and just had to have it. The cover is so amazing!

This book contains three stories:

The Jubilee Express by Maureen Johnson
The Cheertastic Christmas Miracle by John Green
The Patron Saint of Pigs by Lauren Myracle

THE WORLD: All three stories are based in the same world, the characters know each other rather well and in the last story at the end they all come together. It is a small town in USA buried under the snow storm during Christmas. Simple really but cute.

CHARACTERS: Jubilee is the main character in the first story. She is actually adorable and my favorite. She is neither whiny nor annoying in general. I love Jubilee! The story is really about her being stuck on the train in the storm and meeting Stuart and his family. It's all really cute and made me get a big mug of hot chocolate. It was a cold and rainy day. Next story features Tobin as main character and how he falls in love with Duke. Typical John Green character. My heart is full of hate towards them. It was like reading Paper Towns all over again. The third story is about Addie who is so whinny and self centered. Funny thing is that everybody tells her that and she just doesn't believe it. She is heart broken about cheating on her boyfriend Jeb. I admit Addie did grow in the story but still, Jubilee all the way!

LOVE: Love is the main theme of this book. Jubilee finds Stuart, Tobin realizes he loves Duke and she loves him back. Addie is heart broken about Jeb who finally managed to find her. Love love love. Well frankly, only the Jubilee and Stuart's story was cute. Others were just annoying.

PLUS: Even this book is made of three stories they all are connected. You meet Jeb in first story and then he appears in second till he finally reaches Addie in third. Jubilee leads the first story but she appears in third story too. It's really cool that!

PLUS II: The book was about Christmas and snow! I am so rereading Jubilee's story on Christmas vocation! Most perfect Christmas read ever!

MINUS: Take Paper Town, change names and put it in snow. I am seriously done with John Green. I had enough of infinities and adventures and looking for a deep meaning. Just done.
